Rushlake Green, East Sussex

The timeless appeal of the Shaker style shows how well it fits into period properties. Inspiration for the colour of the cabinetry came from their fondness for British racing green.

For the finishing touches, we used burnished brass for the taps and handles and bright white quartz worktops and a ceramic white butler sink which sets off beautifully against the oak interior and green cabinets.

As an eye-catching detail reeded wire decorative brass was added to the front of the pantry cupboard doors.
